Our Story

Selfies

It all began when my son Joseph fell in love with a certain meme back in 2021. An avid lover of dogs, he just couldn't get enough of that ovoid canine!

As a long-term developer, I became aware of the NFT revolution and was interested in the concept of generative art, and to amuse my son, I thought I would try and create a collection of Doggo artwork. A lot of the more popular NFT collections had a certain dark austerity to them and I wanted to create something different - something cute, something inspiring, and something to bring a smile of people's faces. A few weeks later and Doggo Dreams was born!

One of the hardest things about getting through the pandemic was keeping our spirits up, when no end was in site. Across the UK and I'm sure many other countries, the rainbow motif was a popular expression of solidarity and togetherness and I know many children were inspired by this. With the Doggo Dreams NFT collection, following Joseph's creative input, I have combined artistic elements such as sky, clouds, rainbows and the deep Ocean to suggest open horizons and "The sky's the limit", and if Doggo can be all these things, so can you!

These are pieces for the young and the young-at-heart. Although not many children have an NFT collection yet, Joseph and I hope that these little pieces of art would provide the perfect starting piece for a future collection.

A lot of NFT collections use a random element to generate interest, and although some Doggos are rarer than others in terms of traits, we wanted people to be able to pick their favourite that most speaks and inspires them or their child.
